Now that I’m officially in my mid-twenties (UGH! When did that happen?) when I go shopping, I think about long term potential for anything I’m spending money on. Building a classic wardrobe is about a lot more than owning a Louis Vuitton tote bag and Tory Burch riding boots. It’s about quality pieces that won’t ever go out of style, it’s the pieces that both you and your mom could wear without looking outdated.
What I like about these pieces is that they tend to go with anything, and will never go out of style. I hate wasting my money on something that just goes in the back of my closet and I’ll never wear it again after a couple of nights out. That’s why I love Daniel Wellington watches, classic style yet young and fun without being pretentious. ??
I think I’ve worn this watch just about every day since I’ve gotten it in. Sorry in advance, but you’ll be seeing this watch on repeat in my Instagram outfit posts. The irony is that now I want to buy one in every color when the purpose of a classic wardrobe piece is to not have to buy a watch or purse, etc for every outfit. ? The good news is that you can shop my exact watch (or any other DW) at 15% off! Use code: LEGALLYBRUNETTE. Get yours here!
Another thing I LOVE about Daniel Wellington watches is that they’re an investment piece but without the investment price. Usually when I see a blog post about investment pieces, I simply scroll through knowing I can’t afford a Chloé bag.
Classic wardrobe investment piece, budget friendly price? Count. Me. In.
What’re you’re favorite wardrobe classics?
*I received this watch c/o Daniel Wellington. All opinions are my own.
